Registration is now open for Humlab’s course “Research Data Management, Ethics and Open Science” (7.5 credits), aimed at PhD students in the Humanities and Social Sciences interested in learning more about research data management.
Course description
Autumn Semester 2026 – The next course session will be offered from November 2026 through January 2027.
This condensed course introduces research data management and open science. We will cover fundamental concepts, good research practice, ethics, and ethical review in Sweden, and delve into the FAIR and CARE principles. The course also includes important legal aspects, strategies for data storage and backup, and the practical work of creating a data management plan (DMP). The aim is to equip you with the necessary tools for responsible and efficient data management throughout the entire research process.
