Simon Lindgren, Professor in Sociology has won a research grant of 4.8MSEK from the Swedish Research Council, for the project Programmable politics: Civil Society in the Age of Algorithmic Automation. The project will study how civil society practices are affected by algorithmic automatization in terms of possibilities and hindrances for political deliberation on and around digital platforms.
